“This song came together in such a fun way. The inspiration for the hook came about while reflecting on various times in our lives where we wanted to share something from the heart, perhaps ask questions about things going on in life and we were told ‘no’; or at the very least given the feeling of being shut off. We’ve probably all had that feeling at some point. So we wrote the lyric to acknowledge the feeling, but to also inspire people to have the courage speak up, even if its on topics that aren’t always comfortable”
